Beginning this week there really are not many surprises throughout the league. If any surprises come at all, it would be out of the NL. The NY Mets are a World Series team whom has dropped off the face of the earth.
This is a team I thought would be running away with their division and not playing catch up. An even bigger surpise turns up in the AL. The Chicago White Sox have plummeted after winning 10 of 11 a little over a month ago. Going from one of the strongest pitching staffs to simply only having Chris Sale (11-2), who is the only starter with success now after this streak.
Do you see any other surprises you want to chat about? I can honestly say there may be some slides in standings for some of these teams. If you only have one pitcher in the rotation who is getting consistent starts, it will not be enough.
